Revd Martyn Trembath became the Rector of Holy Trinity in Ayr in February 2020. Martyn was ordained in Truro Cathedral in 1990 and his ministry has led him to work in both church communities and the NHS. Martyn has been a Healthcare Chaplain based in London, Cornwall and latterly in Luton. Martyn has also worked as a parish priest in Cornwall, where he was born and grew up.
Martyn writes:
I had no plans to come to Holy Trinity, Ayr but God has led me here – and it is now my privilege to be a part of a community of faith that welcomes and supports one another and encourages each of us to grow in faith, deepen our discipleship, and grow the church. We are committed to build God’s Kingdom as we live the gospel in loving one another and in serving our community.
We were welcomed in – and you will be too. Our worship may be traditional but our welcome is warm and you are invited to join us. I’m glad I did and I am sure you will be too!
