During Coronavirus pandemic, limited services have resumed: commencing Sunday, 28th March, 10.30am Eucharist; Wednesday, 11.00am Eucharist.
Our Services are traditional in style but not stuffy, with a warm welcome and followed by the opportunity to meet for coffee or tea in the Church Hall, next door to the Church.
SUNDAY at 8.00 am
The Eight O’clock Communion is a traditional language service following the Scottish Prayer Book. It is a said service that is quiet and reflective. The service is held in the Saint John’s Chapel.
SUNDAY at 10.30 am
The Sung Eucharist uses the modern language service of the SEC and there is a robed choir and servers. Our worship is thoughtful and is led by the Rector, retired clergy and a team of Lay Worship Leaders.
There is a children’s area, a loop system and toilet facilities in the Church Hall.
Sung Matins takes place on the second Sunday of each month. This is a choral service with a sermon, the singing is led by the Choir and follows the Scottish Prayer Book.
SUNDAY at 6.00 pm
Sung Evensong is held on the first Sunday of each month (apart from July and August). This is a choral service with a sermon, the singing is led by the Choir and follows the Scottish Prayer Book.
WEDNESDAY at 11.00 am
The Wednesday Holy Communion is a traditional language service following the Scottish Prayer Book. It is a said service without a sermon – and followed by tea and coffee in the church hall.
